Management Program

Your Bachelor of Arts degree can be just 14 months away!
The Malone Management Program (MMP) will challenge, inspire, and connect you with knowledge, skills, and professional resources that you can only imagine. Program cohorts scheduled to start in January, February, March, September, October, and November.

The accelerated degree completion program offers the following five majors:

Organizational Management

This major emphasizes dealing effectively with people, problem solving, critical and creative thinking, and ethics. Click to view program of study.

Marketing Management
This major studies the basic concepts of marketing, delves into the management decision-making process of marketing, and provides an overview of electronic commerce. Click to view program of study.

Project Management
This major studies the specific skills and methodology to accomplish a goal. Curriculum prepares the students to sit for certifications in Project Management Professional and Project Implementation Professional. Click to view program of study.

Health Services Management
This major provides an in-depth understanding of health care systems and organizations, examines legal issues related to health care, and explores consumer health choices. Click to view program of study.

Environmental Management

Features

Classes for MMP meet one night a week or on Saturday morning for ground (in the classroom).

The program is also completely available online for convenient access 24/7.

Program cohorts scheduled to start in January, February, March,September, October, and November.

All books and materials are delivered to you directly so there are no trips to campus required once your get started.

Stellar student support services assist you throughout your entire program in to form of academic advising, writing and math tutors, and a faculty mentor.

Credit for Prior Learning

The MMP program offers a six-week course in Portfolio Development which will guide you through the process of earning credit for your life-learning experiences.

How to Apply

  1. Complete and submit the Application for Admission either by hard copy or online at www.malone.edu/apply.
  2. Send official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended and from additional credit sources, including ACE, CLEP, and military.
NOTE: Applications are accepted year-round to provide the earliest admission possible.

Program Eligibility

  • You have earned a minimum of 40 semester credit hours of undergraduate course work from regionally accredited colleges or universities.
  • You have five years of work experience.
  • Your cumulative grade point average is at least 2.0.
  • You demonstrate writing proficiency through college/university English composition or a writing sample.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid Information 2010-2011

Following are instructions for filing for financial assistance: YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL STEPS EVEN IF YOU ARE ONLY APPLYING FOR A LOAN.

Step 1:    Complete a Malone Financial Aid Application and return it to Malone’s Financial Aid Office. (For financial aid purposes you are considered a FULL-TIME student.)  
Step 2:    Complete the ENTIRE Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may file online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Our Title IV school code is 003072.
Step 3:    Provide the Financial Aid Office and the School of Graduate and Professional Studies a copy of your employer’s tuition assistance plan if you are eligible for this benefit.

Receipt of financial aid is contingent upon admission to MMP and must be coordinated with your MMP start date.

FEDERAL PELL GRANT
This is a need-based grant based on the results of the FAFSA you have filed.

VETERAN’S AND OHIO NATIONAL GUARD BENEFITS AND ACE’S PROGRAM
The MMP program is approved for Veteran’s and Ohio National Guard Benefits. Contact the Registrar’s Office at
330-471-8431 for information concerning Veteran’s Benefits and the Financial Aid Office at 330-471-8435 for Ohio National Guard Benefits. Officers not eligible for regular benefits may be eligible for the ACE’s program.

FEDERAL SUBSIDIZED STAFFORD LOAN
This is a need-based loan (based on the FAFSA you have previously filed).  The interest rate is fixed at 5.6%.  Interest begins six months after classes end or you stop attending at least half time. Repayment also begins at that time and can extend up to ten years.

FEDERAL UNSUBSIDIZED STAFFORD LOAN
This is the same as the Stafford Loan program, except that it is NOT NEED-BASED and you, the borrower, are responsible for the interest that accrues DURING the in-school period.

NOTE: Any balance that remains after financial aid has been deducted from the total charges, must be paid in accordance with one of the standard payment plans. Any questions regarding financial aid should be directed to the Financial Aid Office at 330-471-8159 or 1-800-521-1146, ext. 8159.
