Master of Science in Nursing

Dear Nursing Colleague,
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares the BSN Registered Nurse as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). Two tracks are available, the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with an adult health focus and the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a primary care focus.

The program is lock-step; students are admitted each fall as a class and complete the program in 24 months. Most on-campus classes are scheduled on Thursdays. All students complete the first two semesters and then choose the CNS or FNP track during the Advanced Practice Nursing Course based on their career goals. Clinical experiences begin in the fall of year two and can generally be arranged at a location (in Ohio) convenient to the student’s home.  Thank you for your interest in our programs!
