Final NAIA Cross Country Polls Have Malone Men 2nd, Women 5th

After winning American Mideast Conference titles over the weekend, the Malone University men's and women's cross country teams both held on to their respective Top 5 rankings when the final NAIA National Coaches' Polls were released on Sunday evening.  The Pioneer men received 11 of a possible 22 first-place votes in their poll to finish second to No. 1 Southern Oregon University by just one point.  The Raiders claimed the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship over the weekend and received 612 points in the poll while Malone was right behind with 611 points.

The Malone women, meanwhile, remained at the No. 5 position in their poll for the fifth straight week.

Both Pioneer cross country squads will compete in the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) National Championship Meet on Saturday before traveling to Vancouver, Washington on November 21st to compete in the NAIA National Championships.
