Heartland Christian’s Treg Lunger to Play Soccer At Malone University

Treg Lunger, of Columbiana, Ohio and a 2009 graduate of Heartland Christian School, recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Malone University this fall and play soccer for the Pioneers. Lunger lettered four years in soccer and basketball for the Lions in addition to lettering two years in track and field.
A 6’4” midfielder, Lunger was twice named Heartland’s soccer MVP and helped the Lions earn ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) State Championships in both soccer and basketball during his high school career.
He intends to major in Pre-Physical Therapy at Malone and is the son of George and Christine Lunger of Columbiana.
