Cross Country

With 109 NAIA All-American honors (78 men's, 31 women's), Malone men's and women's cross country has developed a consistent reputation for winning!  Led by NAIA Hall of Fame member Jack Hazen, who recently served as the head distance coach for U.S.A. Track and Field at the 2005 World Track & Field Championships, the team has developed a reputation as one of the premier collegiate cross country programs in the country, regularly competing for the NAIA National Title.  In fact, the men's cross country team has captured three straight NAIA National Championships while the women's squad has registered four straight Top 5 finishes at the national meet.  The Pioneer men completed the "perfect" season in 2007 by defeating every team they competed against in each and every meet.  The men then backed up their remarkable '07 campaign with two more great performances in '08 and '09.
