Women's Basketball

The storied Malone women's basketball program, which has a 501-429 overall mark since its inaugural season in the early 1970's, has experienced tremendous success through the years.  Former head coach Patty Long (1978-83) amassed an impressive 109-29 record in five seasons to set the tone for Pioneer women's basketball and each coach since then has worked extremely hard at trying to emulate Long's tremendous success.  Through five seasons under current head coach Lori Wynn (2003-present), Malone has notched a record of 67-78 including an impressive 18-12 season in 06-07.  The program has averaged over 13 wins a season under Wynn and hopes to continue its climb in 2008-09.
