Women's Tennis

The Malone women's tennis program posted a 3-13 record in the spring of 2009, narrowly missing out (by one victory) on qualifying for the postseason NAIA Region IX Tournament after compiling a 3-4 mark in the American Mideast Conference.  Junior Lauren Armbrust and sophomore Alanna Phillips return from the '09 squad and are joined this year by seven newcomers to the Pioneer program. First-year head coach Tanya Gombera will look to guide this young Pioneer team to a successful 2010 campaign as the squad strives to capture a spot in the regional tournament.
