Malone University President Gary W. Streit has recently been appointed as a trustee to two community boards -- the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.
Gary Streit, Ph.D., has served since July 1, 2007 as Malone’s twelfth president. He was recently recognized with the Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce strives to serve its members through partnership, programs, services, and events to advance the economic growth of Canton and the Stark County region.
The Stark County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving the significant materials and records related to the history of Stark County and the presidential history of William McKinley. Through the Wm. McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, the Society serves as an educational center of history and science and offers interpretive exhibitions and educational programs for the local community and its expanding global audience.
