The location and leadership of service-learning trips change every year depending on availability of leaders and in-country hosts. We partner with international hosts who have compassion, experience and knowledge with the people of the countries we visit. Our trips are always created around your potential to learn, both about the culture you visit and from the nationals who host you. The service projects on trips are designed by nationals of the host country to address a real need. We trust our partners and are grateful for their willingness to teach us.
Student Responsibilities
As a member of a Malone Service-Learning trip, you will be
responsible for a number of things:

Some Thoughts on Short Term Cross-Cultural Experiences
The Cost of Short Term Missions
Making the Most of Ministry Trips
As you consider participation in the Malone Service-Learning Program, it may be helpful to know how these trips fit into the bigger picture of your Malone experience. Centered in Malone’s Foundational Principles, we recognize that your education includes many experiences while you’re here. You may want to see the Educational Goals of the Service-Learning program as well as the General Education Goals that our service-learning trips address.
