Health and Wellness Programs

Health and Wellness programs at Malone University care for all of a student's needs - emotional, intellectual, mental, physical, and spiritual. Our goals include:

  • to aid in the prevention of health related problems of students
  • to improve access to health care and screening opportunities, and
  • to provide information regarding health issues that would heighten awareness of health needs and issues across the lifespan.

One of the most successful endeavors of this committee is sponsoring a Fall Health Fair.  In its' ninth year and with upwards of 45 demonstrators, the fair serves as an outreach to over 200 students and others in the Malone community.

Other programs provided to address health concerns are: Sexual Assault Prevention, Eating Disorder Education Programs, Domestic Violence Awareness, Depression Screening, Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention, and Self-Defense/Assertiveness Education.
